Took a long, lovely drive up the coast of Southern California on Hallowe’en Sunday.  The day was gorgeous, the water glorious and the traffic barely there.   It was heaven.

Of course, there was no way I would have forgotten to take my camera with me, and I got some lovely shots while I was out and about.

One huge difference between Malibu and the less “elite” beaches of Southern California is the relative sparseness of human visitors.  It’s really a nice change from crowded sands and virtually non-existent parking.
