Now, I know you’re looking at this picture and are thinking “what do you mean flowers?  Those are leaves!”

Well, they aren’t.  If you look closely, you will see green leaves in and around the cluster of these wildly pink flowers.  I took several pictures of this particular bush, and will be posting the other shots as well,  so you can see the variation and beauty of this most unusual floral symphony.

The flower to the right is a part of the bush you see at the top of this entry.  Note the delicate veins in the center of the middle-pink petals.  It’s really quite lovely.
